AstroNerdBoy, first, I’m really sorry to see the ugliness of your stalker problem. Someone clearly needs mental help or some cool-down time in jail.
Second, are you sure about the 6 year thing? That would place the beginning around the release of episode 3 of OAV3, and while there were certainly heated arguments going on at the time, I don’t recall anyone complaining about being stalked throughout the OAV3 release that ended late 2005.
The reason I’m bringing up the chronology is not to doubt your word, but because it might help narrow down the list of possible suspects. I think this kind of harassment may simply make you feel that you’ve been dealing with it forever. I was active in the Tenchi scene back then and unless this was kept under wraps really well, I don’t see how I could have missed people talking about it. As far as I can recall, the heavy trolling at AFC started around 2007, after many of the old regulars had dropped off the scene.
You know, I can’t be 100% for sure when the first incidents started. I do have one thing from mid-2006 archived, but back then, I didn’t keep much of anything save on a whim. Back when this all started, it was assumed this was a simple troll, not a stalker. Back then, I wasn’t the sole target, as I mentioned in my piece. Sometimes the AFC forums were hit and sometimes members were hit with PM’s thanks to how EZBoard was set up. When this first started, the attacks weren’t frequent at all, but scattered and random.
You are correct that by 2007, things had really increased with Psycho’s attacks and that’s when it got a wider notice. That’s also when he started attacking me on the blog. Now, since I can only prove four years, that still doesn’t change the fact that Psycho is deranged.
As to whom this is, we have a good idea. However, lest I accuse someone falsely, I will not name names without hardcore proof. Hopefully, this can be found sooner rather than later.
