is it me or hontou ni is like a tumblr D:
episodic blog will not get any of my votes
Oh Hontou ni, I’ve enjoyed said blog (Taihen Desu at least) since before I knew of any other aniblog’s existence (this includes RC)… but I wish Stripey was still properly active.
The first one was difficult. I don’t really read any of those blogs, and in the end, I decided on houtou ni even though I don’t really like the layout (honestly, layout shouldn’t matter).
The next one was difficult because the blogs are both actually good. I went with Carniel because they mix it up with episodics, which I hate, and countdown lists, etc. There’s something for everyone.
Looking back, I kind of wish I voted for OGIUE MANIAX. FUCK ME.
I feel bad for not voting for my fellow countryman Caraniel, but I can’t not vote for Ogiue Maniax
I’d actually vote for Oguie Maniax myself so do not begrudge the fact I’m getting pummeled!
Went with chaostangent in the other poll, but it was a close call.
Let’s fight like gentlemen.
I liked hontou ni when Stripey put up BGM for us to guess on, but since he’s dropped out of doing that, it hasn’t been nearly as interesting. Second matchup is a pretty easy pick. No upsets there.
Another easy decision since Ogiue Maniax is one of my favorite blogs and I don’t really care about the other 3.
I’m curious what does Tenchi Muyo have to do with how to vote?
It doesn’t. If you don’t understand it, be happy that you missed some drama, and keep voting. /o/
I like the sense of humor you guys have, but you’re mistaken.
The reason I campaign against AstroNerdBoy has very little to do with how he likes the Tenchi OVA 3 and I don’t. I couldn’t care less about him liking it if that was all there was to it. I have a number of friends who like OVA 3 and we get along just fine, because they are normal people who don’t patrol the Internet to find literally each and every Tenchi discussion and “correct” the “mistaken” opinions of other Tenchi fans. There’s only one person who keeps doing that year in, year out, and then complains about me and my pals calling him on his repetitive cultist propaganda year in, year out because we got fed up and decided to give him a taste of his own medicine.
What this is about is freedom to enjoy the anime you like without constantly being hounded all over by a megalomaniacal zealot.
I’m undecided for the first one. I don’t really read reviews even though chaostangent is good, and I preferred Hontou Ni back in the old days of Stripey’s siscon ramblings. I decided not to vote.
As for the second round, SDS is God-tier.
